Metro Deaf School, a free public charter school serving Preschool-12th Grade, provides a bilingual and interdisciplinary curriculum using American Sign Language (ASL) and English for students who are primarily Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard-of-Hearing.

Metro Deaf School promotes academic excellence for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students using an ASL/English bilingual approach. Our primary purpose is to empower our students to develop the skills and knowledge to succeed as global citizens.

Metro Deaf School will be providing education via distance learning during the month of April. During this time, teachers and staff will be following Metro Deaf School's Distance Learning Plan.

The Minnesota Department of Education and Metro Deaf School want to ensure that students who are in need of meal assistance are able to get the assistance they need during this school closure. Resident districts are providing meals for their students while our schools are closed. Information about individual districts' meal plans are below.
