Philippe Gallant

Philippe is serving his second year on the board. He and his wife, Joleen, have two daughters, and two granddaughters. Their oldest is a freelance interpreter and the youngest is an ensign with the Navy. Philippe is the executive director at Deaf Harbor in Elk River, MN. At Deaf Harbor, he currently focuses on their Chronological Bible Stories project in ASL along with other key Deaf Harbor activities. His extensive experience with Deaf people and the needs of the Deaf community allows him to be an advocate for cultural Deaf and other individuals with a hearing loss in both domestic and international contexts.
