Congratulations AB Team 2012 – Linzie (Senior), Karielle (Senior), Amanda Jo (Sophomore) and Raelyn (Freshman)!

Our amazing Academic Bowl Team took 7th place out of 80 teams at Gallaudet’s national Academic Bowl competition April 13-16!!!  MDS is very proud of all their due diligence and hard work over the past months as they practiced and competed with other teams both locally and through video links in preparation for the grueling 4 days  of competition -  it was all very exhausting yet so exciting!  Our AB Team competed in 20 matches and only had 4 losses (losing twice to Indiana – once in the Clerc Pool and again in the playoff round).

Linzie was named an All Star Player!  Coach Cheri has done another great job securing a winning team and Assistant Coach Lynn provided valuable help.  Our AB Team’s parents were also a great support, allowing for numerous practices to happen after school throughout the year.
